About

Each FAR NORTH FELT piece  celebrates the  textures, shapes and colours in the landscape of the far north of Scotland. I use fleece from my own sheep, as well as fleece from North Ronaldsay, Jacob’s and Zwartbles sheep. Occasionally I use other rare breed sheep such as Soay. I make all the pieces by hand in Orkney.

I make felted bowls and jewellery, and spin and weave my own fleeces.

I am a member of the International Feltmakers Association.
